Schedule an in-person tour and meeting with the owner & house manager to determine if we are the right fit for you in your stage of recovery.
If so, we’ll move forward by reviewing our financial agreement and policies.
You are welcome to stay as long as you need to in order to heal. The minimum length of stay is 90 days and the maximum length of stay at OASL is 2yrs. OASL reserves the right to extend the maximum length of stay beyond 2yrs. for guests that are actively and successfully committing to the recovery process.
Yes, there are house rules, set in place to keep you safe. The house rules and agreement will be explained during the screening process and again upon move-in.
Yes, our house manager’s job is to keep the house in order and healthy. Our guests are expected to follow the house rules. The common areas inside and outside of the home are monitored by cameras for safety and curfew compliance (except for the bedrooms & bathrooms).
Yes, guests must attend a minimum of four AA/NA meetings or other recovery group support meetings per week.
No, we are a Level II SLE, certified with The Sober Living Network to provide structured housing. However, we work closely with community partners who do provide counseling, should a guest need counseling service.
Yes, drug and alcohol screens are done on in-take, randomly and upon suspicion. Regular drug and alcohol testing are conducted to ensure a safe environment.
If a relapse happens outside the home, it will result in temporary removal from the home, with the possibility of return after demonstrating commitment to recovery. If a relapse is committed inside our sober living home, it will result in removal and no option to return for a minimum of 30 days thereafter.
The monthly fee for OASL is for guest bed fees, bedding and bath towels, coffee, access to all utilities, washer/dryer, limited transportation and Wi-Fi. All other expenses are your responsibility (e.g.: groceries, cell phones, outings, etc.)
We are accepting private pays, CHOICE and BRIDGE funding. Guests may pay via Cash, Check, Money Orders, Zelle & Debit Cards.
You will be charged a late fee each day you are late. Depending on the circumstances, and the number of times you are late, you could have your residence terminated.
OASL is completely furnished. Guests should bring personal hygiene items, clothing, shoes, necessary medications (excluding narcotics), and any essential documents. New Bedding, new bath towels, laundry basket and basic household items are provided. Guests must provide their own food, clothing, shoes, toiletries and laundry detergent.
Yes, proof of license and insurance must be provided, as well as documentation of work schedules upon house manager request.
We encourage guests to attend school or participate in vocational training while living in our homes. Building a structured daily routine is a key part of long-term recovery success. Balancing work, education, and sober living responsibilities helps guests develop independence, accountability, and purpose — all crucial for maintaining sobriety after treatment.
No, OASL conducts interviews with prospective guests to ensure a safe and compatible environment to facilitate a supportive community. We consider age, recovery stage, work and school schedules.
No, guests are signing an agreement to pay monthly bed fees and abide by house rules and policies. If a guest chooses not to abide by the house rules and signed agreement, please keep in mind that we are not landlords you can be subject to discharge, at will.
OASL is an SLE (Sober Living Environment), supporting women in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.
